Highly recommend for couples seeking charm
We had a lovely stay at this charming place and from the moment we arrived Angie greeted us with a warm welcome and the room was prepared for us and cozy as hell with cookies waiting so we felt right at home and breakfast was more than just good it was a spread of fresh local produce that really set you up for the day
It wasn't exactly cheap which is a downside but the experience felt worth it

We just had a lovely weekend getaway and the food in the restaurant was top-notch, served hot and fresh. The sun terrace and walled garden were perfect spots to unwind after a busy day. Our room was a tad small, but it was spotlessly clean and cozy, making our stay very enjoyable. 🌞

the location is great right in the center of the village. the staff were friendly, especially the male manager who was engaging. breakfast was pretty good, and our deluxe double room was big and comfy. also, the little touches like sparkling water and cute rubber duck in the bath were nice. we had a good walk around the nearby towns too, which was fun.

Had a lovely two-night stay in a spacious family room that was spotlessly clean and perfect for our little one to spread out. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden area and sipping drinks on the sun terrace. The only downside was that the bathroom could use a little updating, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience! 😊

Charming Location with Room for Improvement
The stay was enjoyable, especially thanks to the beautiful village ambiance. The room was clean, but the noise level from the restaurant was a significant distraction—valuable tip, request a quieter room! The staff was friendly, and the complimentary prosecco was a lovely birthday touch!

Perfect spot for a sweet getaway!
We spent 2 nights celebrating our anniversary and loved the cozy vibe. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the village. Breakfast had made-to-order hot food, and they even surprised us with bubbly at dinner! Just wished the decor in our room was a bit fresher, but overall it was a lovely stay.

I had a lovely stay at the Chester in Bourton-on-the-Water. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and river. My room was spacious and well-decorated, providing a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff stood out to me. they were friendly and always eager to help, especially at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was fantastic with a wide selection of options. I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and cooked items. My only major concern was the parking situation. The lot felt tight and limited, making it difficult to find a spot during busy times. some noise from the bar area filtered into my room at night, which could be an issue for light sleepers. Nevertheless, I found the experience enjoyable overall and appreciated the little touches, such as the decorative amenities and the lovely garden space for relaxing meals. Definitely a memorable stay!
